Orientation
The Master of Arts in Sustainable Energy (MASE) and Master of Arts in Global Risk programs of the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) provide students with an introductory orientation that helps students learn about Johns Hopkins University (JHU), the MASE and MAGR programs, and the tools to be successful online graduate students.
The two-week orientation outlines the resources available to students through JHU and provides students with the tools and information they need to navigate the Learning Management System where their courses are offered.
Students will have several opportunities, live and asynchronously, to introduce themselves to colleagues, meet faculty and staff who support the program, and to practice using the tools available in their online courses. Students will also explore best practices that contribute to their success as online learners.
The Orientation is taught by staff members who work directly with faculty, to design and support the program curriculum, as well as support students in the program. Students will have access to the orientation site throughout their time at SAIS. Access the Orientation Course and log in using your JHED ID and password.
If you need assistance accessing the Orientation Course, please contact Lindsay Ryan at [email protected].
